Waves in Complex Media: From Theory to Practice

Workshop
September 18, 2023 - September 29, 2023
The physics of waves in complex media not only covers optics, radio waves, but also acoustic, seismic and even quantum waves. The rapid growth of applications in this field is strongly connected with rich advances in fundamental physics (coherent wave transport, Anderson localization, random matrix theory etc.). The objective of this school is to gather the best international scientists of this field to give solid bases on wave control, transport and imaging in complex media, while paying a particular attention to the analogies between different types of waves and materials.

This Session is organized by:

Sylvain GIGAN, Laboratoire Kastler Brossel
Nicolas CHERRORET, Laboratoire Kastler Brossel
Alexandre AUBRY, Institut Langevin
