2023 Prize: Nathalie Picque

The Ecole de Physique des Houches is pleased to announce that the 2023 laureate is Nathalie Picqué.

Nathalie PICQUÉ, was researcher at the Max-Planck Institute for Quantum Optics (Max-Planck Society, Germany) and since October 1st, Director of the Max Born Institute in Berlin. Nathalie Picqué is an experimentalist in optics, molecular physics and spectroscopy. She has invented an interferometric method that combines resolution, broad spectral coverage, accuracy, sensitivity, speed and compactness in an unprecedented way. This technique opens up new perspectives in optical frequency metrology.

The Académie awarded her during the ceremony that hold at the Institut de France on October 17, 2023.
