This summer school aims to provide an intensive one-week program focused on the field of Quantum Physics with a specific emphasis on the atom-photon interactions. Through a combination of tutorials and lectures, participants will learn about the fundamental principles and applications of this field with emphasis on Quantum Simulations. Topics covered include quantum states, cold atoms, entanglement, quantum measurement, and quantum information processing. The program will explore how atoms (taken in a broad sense including artificial atoms) and photons serve as key components in quantum systems, enabling new physics in quantum simulation, communication, and sensing. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical foundations and experimental techniques that underpin this dynamic field, preparing them for future research and innovation in Quantum Physics with atoms and photons.
This session is organized by : Quentin GLORIEUX, LKB, Paris Sylvain RAVETS, C2N, Palaiseau Igor FERRIER-BARBUT, LCF, Palaiseau
