Physics of Solar Cells: from Basic Principles to Material Science

Workshop
April 3, 2022 - April 8, 2022
This school will cover the physics of solar cells, from basics to advanced concepts, with a focus on material science. It will cover the fundamental principles and theoretical limits of solar cells. The structural, optical, transport properties of materials will be reviewed and linked to the performances of devices, and the role of interfaces, defects, passivation, and nanostructures will be emphasized. Advanced characterization techniques and key challenges of materials will be also detailed.
This Session is organized by:

Stéphane COLLIN, C2N, CNRS, Université Paris-Saclay, Palaiseau, France
Daniel SUCHET, IPVF, Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France
Andrea CATTONI, C2N, CNRS, Université Paris-Saclay, Palaiseau, France
