Doctoral Training: Quantum Mixtures of Ultracold Atomic Gases

Workshop
September 26, 2022 - October 7, 2022
The first week will establish a solid, common background for all students, with lectures on fundamental topics in the physics of cold atoms: laser cooling and trapping, cold collision, interferometry, superfluidity. The second week will focus on the physics of quantum mixtures in fermionic and bosonic systems, addressing, among others, the questions of fermionic superfluidity, miscibility, impurities, molecules, and synthetic dimensions.
This Doctoral Training is organized by:

Thomas BOURDEL, Laboratoire Charles Fabry, Insitut d'Optique, Palaiseau, France
Raphael LOPES, Laboratoire Kastler Brossel, Collège de France, France
