The goal of this school is to cover the physics of solar cells from basics to most advanced concepts, with a focus on advanced characterization techniques. It will cover the fundamental principles and theoretical limits of solar cells
(including advanced concepts for high efficiency), an overview of technologies (state-of-the-art and major challenges), modeling, photonics, interfaces and heterostructures, and a detailed description of the advanced characterization techniques of
materials and devices.
