Taking into account the issues of climate change and resource exhaustion, this session will be dedicated to a transdisciplinary effort to discuss possible ways to engage into the energy transition. We will discuss how economic models can take
into account the physical world, as well as the contributions new technologies could bring to this effort. Financial mechanisms as well as public policies coherent with these goals will also be part of the discussion. We will thus analyze how
physical constraints can be better taken into account to meet these oncoming challenges.
