The 2026 Nobel Prize winner in physics
The 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics has been awarded to the Belgian physicist Francis Halzen for his work on neutrinos. The Les Houches School of Physics extends its congratulations to him. Professor Halzen participated in a session at Les Houches in 2007 on the theme "The Violent Universe" during the Winter School. He is among the many Nobel laureates and Fields Medalists who have shaped the reputation of the Les Houches School of Physics.
