In this meeting, we will explore the state of the art in our understanding of fundamental biological processes from a physical perspective. Observing individual molecules and their interactions using advances in nanotechnology, optical physics and quantitative microscopy is key to developing this understanding, as this allows measurement of their mechanics and readout of their dynamics. The meeting will cover developments in technology, analysis and modeling together with the latest scientific discoveries enabled by them.
