Interdisciplinary research at the junction between physics, mechanics and biology has been attracted a growing number of researchers for a few decades. This school aims at making young scientists steming from the different communities become
familiar with quantitative methods, whose goal is to characterize the mechanical behaviour of biological material, from cellular scale to macroscopic scale.
