Doctoral Training: SUCCESS 2020 - School on Ultraviolet and X-Ray Spectroscopies of Correlated Electron Systems => Cancelled
Training session
August 31, 2020 - September 11, 2020
Strong electron correlations lead to numerous exotic states of matter. These are best understood by studying their electronic structure. This school will introduce the recent experimental and theoretical developments in UV and X-ray
spectroscopies, from their basic unifying principles to their applications, in the study of correlated electron materials. The school is addressed to graduate students (Master and PhD) and young researchers (postdocs and junior academics) working in
the field.
Doctoral Training organized by:
Andrés F. SANTANDER-SYRO, Université Paris-Sud, France
Silke BIERMANN, CPhT - Ecole Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France
Patrick LE FEVRE, Synchrotron SOLEIL, Gif sur Yvette, France
Ralph CLAESSEN, Universität Würzburg, Germany
More information can be found on the Session's Website.
