Fermi Surface and Novel Phases in Strongly Correlated Electrons Systems
Workshop
October 13, 2019 - October 18, 2019
Exploring, understanding, and describing materials with strong electronic Coulomb correlations remain among the big challenges of modern condensed-matter physics. These materials exhibit novel phenomena like metal-to-insulator transitions,
heavy fermions, unconventional superconductivity, unusual magnetism, stripe and nematic orders as well as clear deviations from the typical metallic behavior. This school, dedicated to young researchers, will cover from fundamental principles,
techniques to new frontiers in this field.
