Cloud academy: cloud formation and properties in extrasolar planets
Workshop
September 23, 2018 - September 28, 2018
Clouds and hazes have fundamental impact on the physical structure and appearance of planetary atmospheres and even influence the habitability of earth-like planets. Recent years brought an abundance of data on clouds in exoplanets and brown
dwarfs. In the school we will review physical models for cloud formation in Solar System planets, observational constraints on clouds in exoplanets, and relevant laboratory studies.
