"Cécile DeWitt-Morette - Ecole de Physique des Houches - CFM" Prize
The Ecole de Physique des Houches is pleased to announce that the 2024 laureate of the "Cécile DeWitt-Morette - Les Houches School of Physics - CFM" Prize has been awarded to Sébastien Galtier, professor in Astrophysics at University Paris-Saclay. Sébastien Galtier has obtained fundamental results in magnetohydrodynamics and general relativity, with applications to space plasmas (solar wind) and cosmology.
The prize was awarded at the French Academy of Sciences on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in Paris.
