From Basics to Applications of Optical Fiber Links and Frequency Combs

The school objective is to broadcast among a wide community the possibilities of high precision measurement and new physics made possible by the optical fiber transfer of a frequency reference, coupled to a frequency comb. The covered applications concern fundamental physics or atomic and molecular high-resolution spectroscopy. The school will also deal with recent technological breakthrough involving time and frequency transfer like synchronisation of long range measurements and quantum key distribution.
