The Ecole de Physique des Houches is pleased to announce that the 2024 laureate is Sebastien Galtier

Theoretical physicist Sebastien Galtier seeks to discover the fundamental laws of turbulence in the universe. To do this, he uses sophisticated mathematical tools and numerical simulation. He has obtained fundamental results in magnetohydrodynamics and general relativity, with applications to space plasmas (the solar wind) and cosmology.
